ThinkThroughTools Plays Major Role in Production

Canfield, OH, April 30, 2009—With National Nurses Week approaching, Pittsburgh-based medical apparel company, on+qor, has produced a music video tribute to the nursing profession.

“All of us know of a nurse: in our family, in our neighborhood or someone that has or is currently taking care of a family member; from home care to intensive care,” says Mary Faith's, Division Manager of on+qor. “My hope is that this effort will raise the general public’s awareness of Nurses Week. I am asking everyone to simply take a moment to honor nurses and their profession by sending them a copy of the video link along with a short email note telling them that you appreciate their dedication to caring.”

The music video was produced by ThinkThroughTools, Inc in conjunction with zekeland.com. The song, “These Hands” was written by ThinkThroughTools CEO Rich Obertots (formerly of the medical musical group, "The Dysrhythmics"), produced by Bill Warner, recorded and mixed at WarnerWorks in Nashville and the vocal performer is former American Idol Contestant, Ann Marie Boskovich. Kirsti Manna, #1 hit song writer (Blake Shelton’s “Austin” and Big and Rich’s “Loud”), was on the keyboards. Video footage was obtained through the cooperation of Pittsburgh’s Ohio Valley General Hospital, the Nursing School of Robert Morris University and the Sto-Rox Focus on Renewal Medical Center.

Obertots was excited about participating in the worthwhile project.

“Each year nurses are delivering more care and services with less and less resources,” he said. “on+qor is to be congratulated for realizing how vital it is to provide nurses with authentic recognition. Ideally “These Hands” will e.Resonate to get into the hands and hearts of thousands upon thousands of nurses who perform such a noble and needed mission.”

The premier of the "These Hands" Nurses Tribute Video is scheduled for Nurses Week 2009−May 6-12. National Nurses Week is celebrated annually from May 6, also known as National Nurses Day, through May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.
