Boardman, OH, January 24, 2013—Does this scenario sound familiar? You attend an Outreach workshop hosted by a dynamic speaker and leave fired up with some great ideas to implement. But a few days later, overwhelmed with your daily work routine, those great ideas and energy simply fizzle out.
Outreach education should not be a one-shot deal. What you learn should be integrated and flowing forward in your Outreach initiatives.
That is why ThinkThroughTools, a national Outreach Systems firm based in Boardman, OH, has teamed up with YSU Metro College, to offer its 10-week OutreachU ESSENTIALS course beginning January 24, 2013. Through this program, participants can engage in actual continuing outreach education.
“Many many years ago we used to instruct only full-day workshops until we found that continuous-flow Outreach education is the ideal method,” says ThinkThroughTools’ CEO, Rich Obertots. “Outreach professionals have to have alternatives to ‘traditional’ workshops.”
The course focuses on proven high-engagement principles, techniques, and tools that produce high-yield outcomes. The presenters, Obertots and John Chamberlin, principal of ThinkThroughTools, will also use Ving technology to interact with the participants online to help verify each learner’s knowledge of OutreachU Essentials.
“There has never really been a ‘how to’ on outreach. This is it,” says Chamberlin. “We have understood the world of outreach for many years, from employment profiles of those who do it to ways of tracking outreach activity and associating it with responses from your targets.”
Among participants in this first course are YSU faculty and staff, several healthcare organization outreach professionals, a director of a psychology practice, a CEO of a corporate/governmental security agency, and a manager of leading national music store chain to name a few.
“It’s a broad group and all will benefit from OutreachU which amplifies how organizations understand and astonish the right customers consistently through Outreach,” says Obertots.
ThinkThroughTools has partnered with YSU METRO COLLEGE to offer OutreachU ESSENTIALS. This 10-week course combines high-engagement in class sessions with weekly Continuous-Flow Learning using Ving technology. The course is for professionals engaged in Outreach that desire to greatly increase their effectiveness; revenue and customer / community adhesion.
